About Caribbean Backing Tracks
We are professional musicians who, for over 30 years, have been programming Caribbean MIDI Sequences and Mp3 Files for Live Performances. We take pride in the fact that we are perfectionists; we spend many hours on each project, always doing our best to include every note and all the musical feel and swing of the original recordings in every song in our huge Catalog. Our programmers are all professional working musicians and hail from Trinidad, Jamaica, Anguilla, USA and Canada.
Whats the difference between MIDI and MP3?
MP3 explained
MP3 is the file extension for MPEG Audio compressed files. The .mp3 files are WAVE files, but they are compressed in a very special way. Maybe you have heard of file compression methods or maybe you even use a program like PKZIP or WINZIP to make .zip files yourself. This however is a completely different compression method.

Midi explained
This format supports multiple tracks and multiple sequences so that if the user of a program which supports multiple tracks intends to move a file to another one, this format can allow that to happen
Our 2 main categories are Soca/Calypso and Reggae in both Mp3 File and Midi File formats.
Our Custom Track section is also there for the original reprogramming of any soca or Reggae track you send to us.
